flashdrive: SSD is a remake of the 2020 album flashdrive, upgraded, extended, and given brand new songs to go along with it. we asked the question of what colours mean to you, and now with a fresh roster of heroic, godly and deity like characters in the roster to resemble those colours, what do these super heroes make you feel?

with 10 songs on this new album, whether you already flew across the rainbow or you’re seeing it for the first time, this will be sure to send you down a trip through those colours in a whole new way.

heroes of the rainbow

Purple

the start of the heroes rainbow is in the PRISTINE LAVENDER planes of existence with purple. this hero sports what we ENVISIONED with that protective but aged and experienced personification, MAJESTIC yet preserved and at zen. sometimes this can be aromatherapeutic kind of semblance, for others purple invokes mystique. this too was part of that design.

red

the next in our heroes of the rainbow comes the trojan bull fighter, red. this personifies a guttural and yet hopeful smash through the toughest walls, yet alarming. sporting a fist for a mask, this brings about the punch that comes with red, that aggressive yet empowering symbolism to charge through at whatever steps in your way. for some, red can be seen as striking, or bloody. of course we couldn’t help but bring this to the attention of that character too.

yellow

Firing on all CYLINDERS is our next hero of the rainbow, yellow. a desert rider, marching towards the sunset in a blaze of glory, this hero resembles everything hopeful and beyond the planes of our world. scorched, and yet dangerously living life on the edge, there’s nothing stopping the embers created from a supernova, the symbol of hope, progress, and light. yellow is often times seen as a warm colour like red, but hazardous and dangerous to some. those skulls on this ones clothing speak for themselves.

green

acidic, slumped underneath the ground and buried in apocalyptic cries comes the silent hero of the rainbow, green. this personifies the underground, the toxic and chaotic, the one who walks through a world unscathed, a reminder of what surrounds, and what is to be left as one walks through a world desperate to cling. green to some resembles a sourness, or an organic biome. this one walks that very biome, but leaves behind what could be sour to anyones taste buds.

blue

soaring through the clouds comes this final hero of the rainbow, blue. it stands to be airborne, coursing through the skies and across oceans on its way to new horizons without a moment to lose. blue can be seen as a mark of tears, the ocean, tranquil and cool temperatures. blue as a champion takes that ocean and sky traversal, the aviary precision of TRANQUIL gliding, and cool enough of a breeze to bring down those jets before they burn out.

the void walkers

black

this godlike presence resembles the dark side of all that is colour, the planes of sorrow, woe, misery and decay. it is said that when the heroes of the rainbow come together, the darkness of black brings a coalition of chaos to bring a bit more edge to them. untamed, it can be the difference between rational thinking and RECKLESS execution, one must not exist without the other.

white

the other side of the balance of the rainbow comes white. resembling ETHEReAL mystique, tranquil nothingness, the end of the struggles of a rainbow. when the heroes come together, unlike black which brings out edge, white brings about defence and heralding hope, angelic, protective and yet empathetic. while one cannot exist without the other, in the case of white too much empathy can lead you falling for the wrong threats, and leave your guard too low.

premigods of the rainbow

bronze (the forging of champions)

among the deities of the rainbow comes from the forging of champions, bronze. from the very beginning of ones journey through the rainbow, one cannot travel it alone, or worse unprepared. bronze stands for the smithery and fortitude of a soul that needs revitalising, preparing for great and endless battle into the wilds of the unknown, forged by the bronze in their hearts.

silver (the journey of champions)

the next deity, silver, presents the journey of champions. after being forged with the will and might of bronze, now comes a never ending adventure, all until the last breath taken. silver marks that journey with a slickness, never perfect, but always continuing to slice through every chapter of life that brings about light and dark in a heroes journey.

gold (the memory of champions)

finally, the last deity of the rainbow rises as gold. this final deity marks the memory of a champions journey. when a heroes journey falls, it is with the forging of champions and journey of champions that the memory of champions is what will be left behind for all, to learn from them, cherish their journey and grieve not for the end of an era, but the start of a hopeful and new one. it is not where they have gone. it is always what they left behind.
